Great location. Easy to communicate with host

Positive: You can forgive a lot to this apartment for a great location right on the beach, yet away from the loud beach clubs and a Beatles view. It was also spacious. Negative: Needs major renovations. Bathroom has not been updated since the 70s. Constant noise from built in vent in the bathroom was very annoying. The bedroom faces very busy street.We needed ear plugs at night cause of the cars and sirens and motorcycles very late at night and early am. But the worst part was the staff. Communication was nonexistent. We couldn't check in early even though apartment was available cause tge manager was on the Dutch side and didn't get our messages. We asked for late checkout and he was supposed to get back to us but never did. Check out is 10 am btw while it's always 11 at hotels. We were told someone will come at 10 to pick up the keys at 10 but nobody showed up. We waited and waited and texted Alex the manager by 11 and he said he is unable to come after all and to leave the keys. If we knew this we wouldn't rush so much. Communication through Booking was very impersonal and useless as well as calling the property. We were always told to contact Alex who did not even respond most if the time. All appointments in Grand Case that are on that beach have the same view so do yourself a favor and stay in a more upscale upgraded place where the staff is respectful enough to answer your messages.

my husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and had an absolutely wonderful time. The apartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and most importantly has a stunning view and is just steps from the beach. it was just wonderful to walk right outside and be on a perfect beach! There are also several incredible dining options just a 5-10 minute walk down the road, and we had amazing dinners almost every evening. This place was a dream!
